Sebastián de Covarrubias Orozco: Tesoro de la lengua castellana o española (1611). First and Second part now available as part of the “Clásicos de la Biblioteca Nacional” project. Sebastián de Covarrubias y Horozco (1539-1613) was Capellán of Phillip II, canónigo of Cuenca´s cathedral, and consultor of the Santo Oficio. But he is basically known as the author of the Tesoro.
